What moves the number
Four things, and that's it.
Volume
How much of the truck or bin your load fills — this is the biggest driver on almost every job.
Weight
Concrete, dirt, shingles and tile are priced by weight, because that's how the transfer station charges us.
Access
Curbside is cheapest. Third-floor walk-ups, tight gates and long carries take more crew time.
Timing
Standard scheduling is the best price. Same-day and after-hours windows can carry a small premium.
